HR Manager (Director) EMEA

This is a chance to help drive the strategic growth of a renewable energy business with significant plans for growth across Europe and beyond.   

Responsibilities:
  • As an experienced HR manager, a strong focus is on strategic development and international expansion.
  • You advise on market entry strategies for HR and are part of the expansion team
  • You are responsible for talent acquisition for our new projects
  • A strong focus will be on setting up the HR operations in new countries and work closely with external suppliers (e.g. labour law support or payroll providers)
  • You will advise across business units in Europe on organisational development, lead organisational change and drive business transformation from an HR perspective in an international environment
  • You will support the derivation of the HR agenda from business strategies and support and coach leaders in the development of their teams
  • As part of the European and global HR team, you will implement HR processes, policies and standards in collaboration with HQ and further develop existing solutions
Your profile :
  • Degree in business administration with a focus on HR management or comparable qualification.
  • As an HR strategist, you have at least 10 years of professional experience in an international working environment, ideally in the wind power or renewable energy industry, although other related sectors may be considered.
  • You enjoy working internationally, speak fluent English and enjoy developing intercultural cooperation as an HR manager and supporting organisations in an intercultural context. 
  • You have a strong hands-on mentality and can demonstrate a broad knowledge and understanding of HR practices, policies, as well as experience in European labour and social security law
  • You have experience in a fast and complex changing work environment and a strong ability to structure yourself while handling multiple priorities
  • You are familiar with agile working methods and managing challenges with different time zones
